We are very fortunate as the fields around us are used by local farmers for new born calves and lambs - it's brilliant to be able to look out of the windows each day and watch them develop. We also have many birds visiting the garden - yellow hammers, woodpeckers, goldfinch and even a sparrow hawk. My camera skills are not good enough to photograh birds apart from pheasants - which will on occasion eat from our hand
